License agreement
Your use of the iPhone app American Mahjong with Friends is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which applies between you and Jackson Jeffries. Nothing on this page replaces it.
How the app handles your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
The app is free to play. Joining a multiplayer table is always free, and hosting a table is free once every seven days. Optional subscriptions add more:
- Unlimited Hosting: host as many multiplayer tables as you like while it is active.
- Hand Analysis: after each hand you finish, a review of your play that shows where you could have made stronger choices.
- Premium: Unlimited Hosting and Hand Analysis together.
The plans available to you are shown in the app's Store.
- Plans: each subscription is offered monthly (renews every month) or yearly (renews every year).
- One plan at a time: you can hold one of these subscriptions at a time. Moving up to Premium starts right away, and Apple refunds the unused part of your previous plan in proportion to the time left. Switching between Unlimited Hosting and Hand Analysis replaces your current plan; the App Store shows when the change takes effect before you confirm it.
- Price: shown in the app, in your local currency, before you confirm the purchase.
- Payment: charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Managing and cancelling: in the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions — or use Manage on your plan's card in the app's Store. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Free trial: none is offered.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Table mats and other purchases
Table mats are one-time purchases. They are tied to your App Store account and can be restored on another iPhone with Restore purchases in the app's Store. Purchases are processed by Apple.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer requires a Game Center account. Play with people you know and treat the other players at your table with respect. Game Center is subject to Apple's own terms.
No affiliation
American Mahjong with Friends is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the National Mah Jongg League. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
